So What About Some Good News?

2

There is plenty of bad news out there. Really bad news. Cities are being devastated by storms, bombs, and poverty. Just about every Western government is so broke they are borrowing money to keep the doors open. Our wages aren’t going up as fast as the price of food, oil, or electricity. Bad news isn’t hard to find. But good news shouldn’t be either.

Jesus, who was executed yet rose again, is returning. He is going to restore everything to the way God intended. There will be no more wars, no more poverty, no more victims, and no more sorrow. That’s good news.

Yes, the news is filled with new horrors daily. I know people have thought this with ever age, but I really believe the second coming of Christ will be in my lifetime. Sometimes I wish he would hurry up and get here! 🙂
