  • There Is Always Hope

There Is Always Hope

0

The following is part of an ongoing crowdsourced sermon I’ve been developing using my own life experiences and the feedback of others on Facebook and twitter. It’s all about what to do when we have no answers. The introduction can be found here, and the second section is here.

There is always hope.

It is entirely possible that you may not get all the answers in life you are seeking. You may never actually know why things have gone the way they have, good or bad. So cling to what you do know, and remember: there is always hope.

There is always hope, because of Jesus.

Live with hope in Jesus. We live with the hope in The Gospel both now and for eternity. We have hope in the Gospel now because it is the power of God changing us from what we were and are to who we ought to be. We have hope in the Gospel for eternity because in Jesus we know that this life is not all there is, and that our present lives matter. We live with hope in Jesus.

Give your hope to others. Because of our hope, we live like people with a strong purpose. We live to give others hope. Christians everywhere pool their time and money together through their local church and in other ways to help people who are suffering. We give hope to hungry people by feeding them. We give hope to those who are suffering by providing clothing, and medical care. We represent Jesus well by meeting the needs of others, so our words of hope in Christ are not empty. We give hope to others.

Live with hope in Jesus; Give your hope to others. We live to give. We may not have all the answers we seek, but we do know Jesus. So we live with hope, and give it away.

There is always hope.

It is entirely possible that you may not get all the answers in life you are seeking. You may never actually know why things have gone the way they have, good or bad. So cling to what you do know, and remember: there is always hope. Live with hope in Jesus. Give your hope to others.

Live to give. You may never get some of the answers you so desperately seek in life, but the hope you live and give will be that answer for someone else in need.
